The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the breathtaking view from our balcony. Positioned in the heart of the lake, with the majestic mountains as a backdrop, it felt like we were in paradise. Gravedona town may have been quiet, but the serenity of the surroundings only added to the charm of our stay. What truly made our time at Hotel Regina Beach unforgettable was the combination of the stunning scenery and the exceptional customer service. It was during our stay that I decided to propose to my now fiancée, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to capture the moment, presenting us with beautiful photos that we will cherish forever. "The sounds of silence! After spending a week in Paris on our trip to Europe, we traveled to Lake Como to stay in this beautiful property in Dorio. The idyllic location is not only beautiful it is also quiet. If you were looking for a place with natural beauty to relax, this is the place!"

"We stayed here in early April - 6 adults, the Villa is amazing as are the views and Michelle the owner cannot do enough for you, he even has some home made wine in the cellar for 5 euros which would give most £30 bottles a run for its money. The location is slightly rural, and you will require a car to explore, however most major places around the lake are no more than 1 hours drive, with most being much closer, great for scenic walks. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will return some day. Truly amazing and highly recommended."

"The hotel was great. Interesting place on the highway. Clean and comfortable. The dinning room was very disappointing. I really couldn't eat my dinner. I was cold tough and expensive. I ordered a game dish. Should gave been a treat. The disappointing part was that the waiter never came back after dropping the plates. Not for wine refills or the check on us. It didn't occur to him that I hadn't eaten. It seemed that a bus arrived and the focus was no longer on the dinning room guests. The breakfast was great. Staff was friendly. The focus seems to be on large quantity cooking and bigger groups which they handle well. "

"First, be aware that you need to follow ALL of the signs that say, “Runchee.” Your GPS/Apple Maps/Google maps will NOT take you to the hotel/B&B. Parking is easy. Find the place is not. Breakfast: if your idea of breakfast is bread and butter, coffee and cake, then you’re in business. Don’t expect a real meal. I paid in advance and the lady running the place chased me down to pay for my stay. Mistakes happen."

"A really nice flat with everything you would need for a stay in the area! Great views of Bellano and Lake Como too, and the price was more than reasonable. If you do stay here without a car, be aware that the walk up from the town is very steep, I underestimated this a bit!"
