We loved it at the Isaac Jackson Hotel. We felt so "welcome" from the time we walked in the door. I don't believe we've ever met such friendly, "happy", and efficient staff from the front desk to housekeeping. We found our room "just as pictured" on the website. Lovely place to stay if you prefer unique experiences and not the chain hotels that all look and feel alike. This is a very nicely restored historical building, full of fascinating details. We got a very nice room, where the only negative point could be the bathroom door that didn't want to stay closed. There was no TV in the room, which was big plus in our eyes. This hotel is within walking distance to the train depot in Elkins for an overnight stay after a trip to the North Pole on the Polar Express.

The property was very nice, the rooms and amenities were very clean. It was a cute little spot, I recommend staying if you're in the area! Our bed sagged a little in the middle but otherwise we had no issues with our stay.

Very Clean room, super nice front desk, convenient location, gas station, and a store just cross street. The inn is also very close to the ski area at timberline and Canaan Valley state park.

My husband and I stayed for the whole week for a short vacation. Went to Snowshoe for 3 days. Our room was very spacious, very clean, and the bathroom is very roomy. We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast is wonderful! They kept the food filled up and the waffle maker is the best! Coffee always ready and taste fresh. The people are very helpful and friendly. I would love to come back and stay there again. Close to restaurants, shopping and the crowd is in my liking.

We loved the hotel. Our room was great. Perfect example of a business updating their property to be modern. Our room was nice and had all the nice touches from a keurig, to a pad charger for the cell phone. Would stay again and recommend it.

Enjoyed our stay, the room was quite clean and in order. Riverside Suites is considering changing the theme of the Hotel. But my buddy and I like the naming of the rooms for wild west characters. We stayed in the Wyatt Earp room next to Wild Bill Hickok. We think Riverside should keep the theme. Enjoyed the Riverside Grill as well.

Great quality for the price. Clean beds and bathroom. Shower curtain was fresh! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Booked a cabin last minute during a snow storm for me and my two Border Collies. The owner actually called me to make sure that I knew it was a camping cabin - which I thought was super nice. He brought down a second heater in case the first one didn’t warm the cabin up enough. It was a camping cabin so rustic. You are literally on the top of a mountain at this place. I got here around 10 PM, and the entire town was shut down (on a Saturday night). If you're looking for solitude, this is the place...just you and the wood paneling.
