Welcome to The Franklin House in Central Austin TX! This 3/2 townhome is newly renovated and staged with brand new, high-end furniture. After a day of sightseeing in the city, a music festival, or a game at FC Austin, your group will enjoy with fully fenced outdoor area with grill, yard games and plenty of seating. Furnished with 4 queen beds, there is ample sleeping space for 8 guests.

Nothing super fancy, but had everything we needed for our weekend stay to see the Longhorn football game. Comfy beds, plenty of room, and good location to everything. Fair price too.

Basic Lodging/Good Location

A good place for 6 people to stay in the suburban North Loop neighborhood. Easy to get on buses. Easy drive to downtown if you have a car. Quiet neighborhoods to walk (or run). Great places to eat nearby: Nervous Charlies Bagels, Titaya Thai, Stiles Switch BBQ, Foreign and Domestic, and Epoch Coffee, all within walking distance except the BBQ.

Concert trip

Great place. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Home was perfect. Went to Moody center to see Rod Stewart in concert. We didn't us the garage but it was available which is always nice. Would keep this place in mind for future concert trips.

Home Away From Home for a Few Days

We are locals who had to be out of our house for 4 nights for some home improvement projects. The space fit our family (2 adults/3 kids/1 small dog) well. Located close to lots of family friendly eateries (Mandola’s, PTerry’s, Central Market, and Dan’s to name a few) it was nice home away from home. The property manager was very communicative and made sure that check in and the stay went smoothly). The house was well stocked and clean upon arrival; and everything was in working order. I hope we don’t need to be out of our house again anytime soon, but if we did I would book here again in a heartbeat.

Pleasant Vrbo in Austin

The rented Vrbo property was great inside except for some minor issues such as the fan in one of the bedrooms was noisy, one of the bathroom doors didn’t lock, and the plumbing was noisy when used for showers. Else, location of property was okay although some may not find it appealing to their subjective taste. The property management staff was not that easy to reach immediately although they did respond later. Overall a pleasant stay

cozy home/ appearances can be deceiving

Great home, as you drive in the street, the graffiti on some businesses at the corner, give it a negative look, but the home is clean and comfortable. We had a negative experience with the maintenance crew doing yard work, we were told they would be gone by 5 pm, and when we arrived like at 7pm they were still there blocking the drive way and drinking in the backyard, not very professional. Other than that the stay went well and the location is close to many businesses.

Good location. Responsive host

We chose this based on its central location and needed 3BR and 2B. The host was very responsive when I communicated that there was something wrong with the disposal. I declined to have anyone come assess as I prefer not having others come into someplace I’m staying. Ice trays were missing and the host had some delivered in less than 24 hours. I did appreciate having a garage with remote clicker available. The reason I gave 4/5 on cleanliness was there were hairs on some of the fresh towels. Bathrooms were clean. Would have liked a kettle in the kitchen. Hair dryer was missing. I would probably stay there again, due to its location near my DIL’s work.

The place was very clean and comfortable. Beds comfortable. TV great for all the football games. Very safe neighborhood good for walks. Enjoyed gas fire pit in backyard. Host very responsive snd welcoming. Definitely rent it again!

Excellent home in great location

We stayed here while a family member was having surgery at Ascension Seaton Medical center. The home was clean and cozy. Beds were very comfortable and the house was close to the hospital and stores. Was great to come back to the house and relax in the pool. Highly recommend for others to stay here.

Initially had high hopes for this place, my friends and I stayed here for the weekend to get away and enjoy some bars.The pros were that it was in a good side of town where everything was easy to get to. rooms were clean. The main cons were the bathrooms and pool had cockroaches! Didn’t expect that at all. The pool was very small and had pretty strict rules aswell.(not that we were gonna use it given that there was roaches swimming in it already).

Recommendations

By making sure the carpets are clean and making sure the product used to clean the wood floors is not leaving the sticky. Picnic table in back yard would be nice.
