Two King rooms, Two Queen bedrooms. One main full bathroom and one half ensuite off King room. Stocked kitchen,W/D, Keyless lock. Smart TV, WiFi. Indoor/Outdoor dining. No indoor smoking. Plenty of designated onsite parking.

What's nearby

  • Home of Freeman Walker, outstanding citizen of early Georgia. Born in Virginia in 1780, he came to Richmond County in his youth and studied law. Freeman Walker, in 1826, deeded 70 acres of land to the United States Government to be used as an arsenal-the site now of the Junior College of Augusta. He reserved one acre as a family burial ground, known as the Walker Cemetery. He was the father of Maj. Gen. W. H. T. Walker, CSA. Admitted to the bar in 1802, he followed a life of public service; City Attorney for three years and Mayor of Augusta 1817-19, being the first to hold the city´s chief executive office under the name of Mayor, and Brigade Inspector of Gen. Valentine Walker´s brigade in 1813. He represented Richmond County in both branches of the State Legislature and represented Georgia in the U. S. Senate. His speech on the Missouri Compromise attracted nation-wide attention. He died in 1827 and is buried in the Walker Cemetery.

I stayed here with my sister. We are both seniors. This is a very clean and comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood. We had every thing we could have needed, and then some. The host checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything. The location is perfect for whatever we wanted to do or wherever we wanted to go. We highly recommend this house and will stay here again should it be available.

We've made this lovely listing our home away from home when visiting family in Augusta. I know we can rely on easy communication with the owners, clean and comfortable accommodations, and easy access to everything we want to do in town. Great place to stay

From the minute I booked this has been a wonderful experience. My father was having surgery so we needed something close to the hospital, Location was perfect . Near everything. Check in was a breeze! House is beautiful and cozy we felt like we were home. Every thing you would possibly need was provided. I also had my fur baby and the yard was perfect for him. Thank you for making a stressful situation so relaxing. I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone . I can not say thank you enough for your kindness.

Quiet Family Retreat

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) was in town for a family gathering. This home provided all the amenities and comforts we were looking for. The house is located in a lovely, quiet residential neighborhood. It has off street parking and a large, flat, shady, fenced back yard with seating and grill. Inside, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, and utensils/tools. Appliances appear to be new. The furnishings are comfortable and the beds are memory foam. Ample towels and paper products were provided. TVs and wifi worked just fine. We had a great stay. We've already contacted the hosts about returning for future family events.
