"We stayed two nights. The hotel was overall spacious and comfortable - I enjoyed both very big onsen's, our (Japanese room) room and the staff was always helpful. But! The buffet is like a bunch of animals being fed on a farm. IMO the organization and flow of traffic was poorly designed. Very few people have manners or consideration for others at the buffet. We were constantly being bumped by other customers fighting for food. It was a real turn off for our family. Originally I had consider returning with my elderly mother but after the second nights dinner, there is no way I will bring her here in this coming summer. While I would like to stay at this location again, the buffet environment really was a turn off. It reminded me of my travels in some other Asian countries... not quite the Japan I have grown accustomed used to. Otherwise I really like visiting Aso. It's a great place to visit in Japan."

"スタッフの方々には気持ち良く接していただきました。 残念だったのは、部屋に到着後手を洗おうとしたら…蛇口がいつ洗ったの？と、いうくらいに醜くて思わず自分で自身が使う部分だけ掃除をしたくらいでした　そうするとテーブル　寝具ベッド　トイレ…とすべて気になりました 便利な場所にあるのに残念でした"
