"We stayed 3nights at the Parador de Ferrol to rest after a long flight from Australia before starting to walk the Camino Ingles. It was a good decision as Ferrol is an interesting town. The Parador de Ferrol is certainly a beautiful hotel, reasonably priced, very comfortable and just a short 7minute walk to the starting point of the Camino. We loved the view from our bedroom window. "This is rated a 4 star hotel, however I don't think it deserves this rating. The rooms are comfortable and clean but I think the bath should have a nonslip surface and there should be a rail to hold onto when getting into the bath. The cafeteria does not offer or other food unless the restaurant is open. The buffet breakfast is abundant. The restaurant only offers an evening meal with a set menu of limited choice and no vegetarian options. We did not use the spa facilities."

"Great location with plenty of dining options nearby. Easily accessible by bus L5 from the train station (L1A from the bus station). The reception gave us a map and explained the essentials to explore the city (landmarks, dining, marketplace etc.). Room size was decent and with good heating/air-conditioning. The soundproof was poor however. We could hear the traffic well."

"The hotel is a little dated and we didn’t find it as clean as it could be, especially the bathroom. The colour schemes are a little garish. Great location for the train and bus station but a good half hour walk into the centre of La Coruña. Excellent breakfast buffet with huge variety. "
