The location is great, and the staff is nice, but the inner room we were given was dark and had a direct view into another place. Also, very outdated Covid-era social distancing stickers everywhere. It's a cheap and clean but very bare-bones place.

Check in was at 3:00. We arrived close to 1:00. Hotel staff allowed us to leave our luggage while we went out to check out the restaurants and post office. Hotel staff mentioned that their computer system was slow.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
I booked a room solo but travelled with a friend who also booked here. First thing, the rooms were not of equal value. He received an air conditioned room, I had an old rickety and very loud fan that honestly wasn’t going to do anything regarding the heat and humidity. The window in my room was broken and had access to the roof which did not feel safe. The walls appeared to be stained and dirty and the bedsheets smelt musty, probably cause the room isn’t temperature controlled. And worst of all there were drain flies coming out of the bathroom pipes, hanging out on the ceiling, in which one was dead and under my pillow. Nearly thought it was a bed bug! I asked to be switched to a different room but they couldn’t accommodate that. I was able to find a different hotel of a similar price that was cleaner air conditioned and professionally maintained, only a 30 minute walk away from this place. Incredibly disappointing and unsatisfactory for a long stay in the city. It’s easier to bus or walk to the plaza then stay in those conditions.

The room was fine, but there was no ventilation at all, even though we had air conditioning; it could be a bit claustrophobic. We stayed 2 nights and the breakfast was nothing special, quite basic for the price….
