"I love how accommodating the staff was here. We were nearly an hour late for our dinner but they went above and beyond to serve us anyway. "This will have to be my most favorite part of my trip to Japan. You will have to intentionally come here for the temple stay. First and foremost, the facility will ONLY ACCEPT CASH payment for the stay. Though my wife and I were not too fond of the shared wash rooms to wash up. I don’t believe the facility has rooms with private wash rooms. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. They offer traditional breakfast and dinner(vegan friendly, though I am not, very delicious!). Wake up...

"El templo es muy bonito, pero la experiencia muy decepcionante. En el check in no dan información del templo, te informan de horario de cena, desayuno y ceremonia, sin más. Las habitaciones están en fuera del templo, por lo que a las 17. No hay ningún tipo de contacto ni actividad para hacer ni te ofrecen info. La cena y el desayuno no explican los alimentos ni cómo tomarlos (de la cena hubo un niño chillando por la sala, bastante decepcionante), la cena muy bueno todo y el desayuno cositas más...

The onsens were also wonderful. A room here with breakfast and dinner included is an excellent value."

"I wasn’t expecting multi-course dinners that included sashimi and other top quality ingredients. It was incredible, delicious and filling. Great breakfast buffet too. I was delighted with our stay, my boyfriend wasn’t happy about having to go to the onsen to shower, but he got into the spirit and enjoyed himself."
