「I had a fantastic time at the Hydrangea Inn! I rented the Bungalow and it was adorable and quiet. Breakfast on the two days of my stay was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.」
「New hotel. Staff was amazing. Love the bbq grill availability as well as the electric fire pit. Pool was clean. Pool towels were restocked immediately. Love that they have elkay water refill station and ice machine. Food was good. Love the spinach and feta pastry. The bacon was overcooked on both days. Love that they have coffee and hot water available. VERY CLEAN AND FRIENDLY. Shout out to Lexi (staff) as she was very accommodating, helpful, and personable. 」
「We travel to the coast a couple times a year and always stay at Blue Lake Casino. It’s clean. Staff is friendly and on-site food is always good. My son enjoys the pool and I like the proximity to the ocean. It is perfect for traveling between the redwoods south of Eureka and Trinidad/ Patrick’s point to the north. 」
「The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied with our room, beds were comfortable and the TV was big with Netflix and YouTube which is a definite plus for us. The premises were very quiet and convenient to coffee shops and grocery stores. We visited the bird sanctuary which was very close by our hotel.We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Arcata. 」
「The hotel was next to a diner, had a parking lot, really fun "oasis" with big spa, heated pool, fireplaces & pool table. The room was clean with marble counter top in bathroom. Comfortable bed and good breakfast options. It was next to a busy street though so walking to places seemed a little worrisome. 」

「We did not plan ahead and needed a place to stay on the 4th of July. This gem of a propert had a room open at a decent price! The front desk staff had no customer service skills or information on the breakfast offered or pool.
We were able to see the fireworks from our room which was a great suprise. The breakfast was horrible very few options and messy.」
「Clean, renovated room. Good breakfast. Very nice overnight stay. Front desk staff was very friendly and professional.
Only issue was the old electrical outlets in the room that were loose and would not grip/hold the plug when you plug something in (like phone charger.) Phone charger would simply just fall back out of the outlet after you plug it in. These outlets should be addressed as soon as practicable. Other than that, very enjoyable stay. 」
