"Excellent choice for breakfast. The setting and location is wonderful - sitting round the pool, looking towards the sea. Right next to the cute small town with some lovely restaurants. Hotel of a good standard with equally nice comfy rooms. Would have given a 5 out of 5 apart from on occasion, not enough staff on at the bar pool area in the day sometimes and some of the sunbeds are past their best. Would definitely stay here again."

"The house itself was beautiful and the host along with the housekeeper were very responsive. The pool was not heated as indicated in description. We enjoyed freshly baked bread the host provided during our stay. The bathroom sometimes had a sewer smell and required us to open and air the house out. They will be correcting the plumbing issue that resulted in fresh water flow from the toilet during our stay. They were very responsive in the clean up. "

This holiday experience was all that we were looking for - excellent food with exceptional service, a warm welcoming atmosphere from the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping staff, and unparalleled attentiveness from all staff. This hotel has ‘old-world’ charm and is set in a location with amazing views, ocean pools, and beautiful gardens. This is a hidden gem - your stress level will decrease from the first moment you step onto the hotel grounds. As a bonus, it was close to the airport so we could enjoy the views of incoming and outgoing flights with little noise. We started planning our return trip while we were there and look forward to returning to the Albatroz soon!"

"Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in Santa Cruz bei Anna, die Kommunikation lief in der Vorbereitung gut und auch während des Urlaubs. Im Haus wurde an alles gedacht, sogar einen Getränketurm gab es. Kleine Aufmerksamkeiten warteten in der Küche im Kühlschrank auf uns. Zum Kochen gab es Gewürze und vielfältiges Geschirr!Man hat viel Platz in der Wohnung genießen können. Handtücher, gemütliche Betten und saubere Badezimmer erwarteten uns. Die Nähe zum Flughafen war kein Problem, man konnte die Flugzeuge landen und starten sehen und hinsichtlich des Geräuschepegels war es überraschend leise. Gern wieder und hoffentlich bis bald."

I also asked them for a nice amenity for my partner’s birthday and they provided Madeira’s local products and a bottle of red wine, really nice of them. Honestly I can’t complaint of their good service. Very professional, friendly and caring. Such a great experience, team and place with great value, I 100% recommend it."

La vue est tout simplement magnifique : d’un côté, une belle vue sur la mer, et de l’autre, un panorama verdoyant sur la vallée avec une cascade.La maison est spacieuse, très propre et offre tout le confort nécessaire pour des vacances agréables. Nous souhaitons toutefois préciser qu’il est fortement recommandé de louer une voiture suffisamment puissante pour emprunter les routes très pentues de la région.Marta a été une hôte particulièrement attentionnée. Avant même notre arrivée, elle nous avait conseillé d’éviter l’itinéraire le plus court proposé par le GPS et de privilégier un trajet un peu plus long mais beaucoup moins escarpé. Tout au long du séjour, elle est restée facilement joignable et nous a donné de nombreux conseils utiles pour profiter pleinement de la région.Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de ces vacances reposantes et recommandons vivement cette location."
