Wonderful experience in this amazing hotel. To the points that matter the most: room was very comfortable (including very nice bed and excellent shower pressure); breakfast with great variety and good quality; staff very polite and helpful; check in and check out very fast and efficient. I booked the hotel due to the price, location and good reviews. This place far exceeded my expectations. It was so clean, modern yet with old world charm, cozy and inviting. This was an incredible little boutique hotel for our first night of our honeymoon. The service was exceptional the rooms were large and spacious and the bed incredibly comfy. I wouldn’t change a thing.

This was just an all around excellent stop outside of Salzburg. The village was one of the nicest I've seen in Europe. Don't miss the cemetery, it's beautiful.

The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and the hotel is something out of a good movie. The staff were terrific. We went on a guided one hour torch nature walk that the hotel puts on Friday night. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Loved the Garni Gabi! Such a beautiful place! The Spa looked amazing and the beds were so comfortable! We totally loved the breakfasts!!!

Great location! Short walk to all the major attractions on a quiet street. Beautiful area. Two restaurants near by. Host was very responsive and helpful. They had all the kid necessities which was very much appreciated. Dish washer, fridge, shared laundry downstairs. Two bigger bedrooms with beds and couch/chair. One smaller bedroom.

I have stayed at the Goldener Hirsch for the past 30 years The hotel and its staff never fail. Charming and comfortable, it is located in the midst of an active tourist area but absolutely quiet inside and completely safe outside. The staff listen carefully and exceed every request. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Salzburg.

I really enjoyed my staff at the Alpenhoff. Food was great, staff very friendly. The location is perfect - set in the mountains but just a short walk or drive to town.

Amazing staff. Luxurious hotel. Free parking. Spacious room with a nice view of lake Fuschl (Grand Deluxe Room) if you can afford an upgrade definitely go with it. Spa facilities are a must try, they have an indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, as well as massage therapy. Dining is expensive as expected in such places. In short it was a great experience to stay in this castle if you have the opportunity to spend a couple of days here don't miss it.

Our room was absolutely perfect. Everything centered around a huge walk-in shower as it should. The mountain views from our second floor balcony were amazing. And the breakfast was delicious. If you are visiting Salzburg or the surrounding area, I would highly recommend staying here and commuting by train, which is very simple to do and the station nearby.
