Shallow beach is good to swim in but it’s a. Bit dirty with visible trash and fishermen leaving their remnant gear around
Beach vendors bug the crap out of you... pricey.

Unfortunately, there was lots of styrofoam on the beach from the fishermen’s containers in some spots.
We went about 6 months after a devastating storm that flooded the entire area. Consequently, trash was washed up along the beach. I don't blame the locals for the trash, but I wish the government would prioritize the cleaning efforts.
Hoi An’s local beach makes a refreshing change from the city, and the nearby Cham Islands are a great place for a day trip.
