「Loved this house and the quiet respite in the woods. It is a bit far from the village, but so lovely. Spacious suites are comfortable and bathroom is beautiful. The bed was wonderful. The staff was kind and gracious. Will visit again!」

「The entry to the bed and breakfast was through the owner's residence. The state of the entry probably should have given a clue about the cleanliness of the rooms. The floors in the hallway looked as though they hadn't seen a vacuum in a year. Layers of dust on the furniture in the room, and floors that were not cleaned prior to my arrival. The shared bathroom hadn't been cleaned and the shower curtain was covered in pink mold. An old used facecloth hung inside the shower. I made this reservation...

「In the original room, we felt men’s cologne smell very strong, and asked to change the room. The reception accepts our request, and we felt comfotable to stay in the new room. There was no tissue paper box, and coffee machine was out of order. But it is totally fine for us!」

「We thought this was a lovely weekend experience. Highly suggest going to the attached restaurant, and had a great time hiking to the nearby waterfall. A charming area and a charming place to stay.」

「Lovely grounds, well maintained rooms, very pleasant staff and excellent breakfast, and the main house is a beautiful vintage estate house. I stayed in a separate building with a relaxing common area. It would have been nice to have coffee/tea available in room or in the common area (rather than have the short walk to the office area) to get coffee in the morning, particularly in inclement weather.」

「I've stayed here several times, but haven't been here in about a year. I was disappointed in the cleanliness as well as some things in need of repair. Breakfast was okay. There was an issue with someone leaving their dog unattended for a number of hours. The poor dog was scratching at the door of the room, making a lot of noise. I tried to reach the front desk, but no one answered the phone. I don't mind pet friendly hotels. I have a dog. It was frustrating that no one could be reached.」
