「I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means.」

「I traveled with my teenage son and his friend for spring break, and I was a bit frustrated because I had to ask for our room to be cleaned and to get fresh towels when needed. And then even when I asked, it did not happen. I don't know if that is not a daily activity they do on all the rooms, but if that is the case, I wish they would lay out that expectation upon check in.」
