"I liked this hotel but the pillows were very uncomfortable and I didn’t find the very friendly. We dropped our luggage off early but it was just put into a room, like a board room. Was a bit worried but it was fine. It was so close to the rail station, 2 minute walk which we loved. But a little further from Old town than I thought but it wasn’t too bad, 15-20 minute walk. You get a free pass for the bus which was pretty easy to get around with and saved our legs at the end of the day. Overall I liked this hotel and would stay again. Just would like a better pillow and I’d rate it higher!"

"Overall, our stay was great and we would return if we get back to visit our son again who is studying in Salzburg. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable in the annex building. The staff was quite friendly and helpful which was a pleasant and unexpected introduction to Austria (many Americans had warned us about the brusqueness of Austrians and Germans). Breakfast was delicious and unhurried and even included a bit of dessert! ( I allowed myself because after all it was my VACATION:-) ) The location was convenient to many sights, near restaurants, yet was quiet and relaxed. We had air conditioning but would have preferred if it could have run a little bit cooler. We were slightly warm while sleeping at night. It wasn’t the end of the world but we didn’t get to try the pool since it was closed for maintenance the morning we tried to visit it. Also we had a voucher for the bar but didn’t get to fully benefit from it since there was no bartender the evening we stopped in. We were still able to order beer and wine, but couldn’t get the cocktails we had hoped to."

"This hotel is better than I expected. Traditional design. The room was quite spacious and clean. Location was a high point. We were able to walk to the center of the city in just a few minutes. Salzburg is a beautiful city and small enough to walk everywhere."

"Very clean, great breakfast, centrally located, easy walk to the restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Since we couldn’t eat the breakfast due to our early schedule, the staff get breakfast packed for us for the next morning. Very nice."

"Quaint hotel, Andrea’s was really Friendly and helpful. Conveniently located in lovely Garmisch. Good amenities, the rooms are a little dated, but served our needs well and beds and shower comfortable. Lovely breakfast included. Great option!"
