「The food was very delicious and the rooms were kept clean, so we were very satisfied with our stay.」

「Wonderful, friendly, local on a lovely street. Some great scenery and local walks. Pub next door. Great traditional B&B. James and Jane are very caring and want your stay the best it can be.」

「The owner kindly dried some damp clothing we had and breakfast was lovely」

「We absolutely loved our stay. Our room (Danesbrook) was beautiful, with a great view and a really comfy bed. We loved the honesty bar which was well stocked and very reasonably priced. We didn't try the chef prepared ready meals but the selection looked good. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. EV charger was 47p per kWh which saved us a bunch on public charging. Tennis and squash also available!」

「Everything was great. Maybe a usb charging point might have been good in the room. The only annoying thing was the shower gel dispenser in the bath. It didnt work. Luckily i had my own to hand.」

「Very quiet location, excellent views, warm and welcoming upon arrival. Enjoyed the stay and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area」

「We really enjoyed our stay. We were walking the SWCP and were glad to stop earlier on this leg. (Just dont take the road to the lighthouse and then climb the scree over the hill: steep and dangerous). The room was excellent. Comfortable. Delicious dinner down stairs, and lucky for us on our night, a live singer providing a musical background atmosphere. She was lovely, and just the thing to elevate the evening to next level.」

「The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made us feel relaxed from the start. The food was perfect. We would recommend this very nice guest house.」

「Nice, bright room at the top of the inn looking over the village street down to Hurlstone Point. Big, clean en-suite. Good full English breakfast, very friendly staff who wanted to be sure we were happy. The bar was lively in the evening with plenty of groups at the sofas, tables and bar-stools.」

「**Disappointing stay, particularly for an elderly guest** We booked a two\-night stay based on the hotel’s excellent 8\.8 rating on Expedia, but unfortunately our experience fell well short of expectations\. On arrival, reception was unattended and our keys had been left on the desk. Staffing was extremely limited, the dining room was cold and we had to eat in the adjoining pub instead. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also very cold, with the hotel heating switched off despite the cold...

「We felt very welcome from arrival till departure. Good location, cheap parking nearby, decent breakfast to start your day. Keep in mind that the rooms are not air contained and not all windows can be opened. Ask for a fan of necessary.」

「3 Horse shoes was great, for some reason our bedroom got mixed up, was supposed to have a family room but got a double. Staff sorted the issue, i dont know but apparenty is was an Expedia mix up. Issue was sorted by the morning even though we arrived late, cool pub with a kids soft play and decent playground. Foods nice, staff great.....」
