"Our stay at this property was wonderful! The house is recently updated and completely spotless!! It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was really nice having some extra touches like a grill, toys for the kids to play with outside, a jug of water and a dozen fresh eggs left for us. We enjoyed the view of the countryside and seeing the horses next door. This is a hidden gem that we will definitely be returning to. "

You’ll need some basics like a hair dryer, and there’s no microwave, but there is a full sized propane stove with oven. No wifi and minimal cell service, but that’s the good part! "I was there with my wife and one of our daughters to attend a memorial for a deceased family member. My wife of 56 years has Alzheimer's so travel can be challenging, but our stay was very enjoyable even with the challenges. The property is excellent but I think it was the communication with our host that was the most exceptional. The worst part of the trip was leaving! Sitting around the campfire has always been a source of enjoyment and our time there was no exception. While we live 600 miles away, the Cook Forest area is home to both of us. "
