This wonderful newly remodeled Studio boasts a large private walk out garden terrace with a hammock and loungers and table for 4 for sunbathing or having your morning coffee before you head down to the beach and the beach front pool.

That's if you get out of the comfy king size bed!

Snorkel out to the reef, swim in the pool or just chill and read a book under my private palapa at waters edge.

You're surrounded by well kept grounds and of course you are right on the beautiful beach..

It has compact kitchenette with full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee press, microwave, toaster oven, blender and 2 burner electric stove top, and all utensils, cookware and spices.

There is are great restaurant/bars just steps down the beach or there are lots of great restaurants 5 minutes North in Akumal Beach and Akumal Puebla (where the turtles are) and several more in Chemuyil , 5 minutes to the south.

Minutes from Tulum and its famous Mayan Ruins to the South and Playa del Carmen to the North for great shopping and nightlife.

You're situated between several major Eco water parks including Xel-Ha, Xcaret and Xplor. The Hard Rock is 10 minutes away and features major music acts weekly. As well as Cirque De Soliel and their Rauscha show.

Relaxing with beautiful views!!

Very comfortable, great outdoor patio for morning coffee and dining and hanging out with awesome sunrises and ocean views. The pool and beach were steps away. Joan was very helpful in providing for our needs. There is 1 great little restaraunt a short walk but I would suggest having access to a car for groceries or other shopping or restaraunts or using a taxi service.

Beach location is perfect

We had a great time at Joan’s property! The location and outdoor patio is awesome. You’re steps from the beach and your outdoor space has a view of the Caribbean and you can watch the sunrise and sunset. The bed was super comfortable and we had everything we needed. Joan even has a guidebook recommending activities and things to do in the areas. I highly recommend staying here.

Home Away From Home

A clean, comfy, safe place to stay. The owners are very friendly, and are there to help you. The king bed is comfortable, and the shower is great! The patio is spacious with a nice view to the ocean. The beach is full of soft white sand, and the best part is that it is not packed like in Akumal. Adventures Akumal is our new destination from now on!

Terrific spot right on the beach!

We had a great time in this apartment with its spacious patio and beautiful views of the beach. The sand is just steps away, as well as a very nice pool. The apartment had everything we needed, including beach towels and a toaster and coffee maker so that we could have breakfast on the patio. Also a big, very comfortable bed. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. All in all a wonderful stay!

This Place is AWESOME. Saw Turtle lay her eggs!

Greg's place is right on the beach and said beach is amazingly beautiful and he is a great host. The tiled terrace has lovely tropical plants and a breath taking view of the sea. We loved having our morning coffee out there and relaxing in the hammock or lounge chair. The pool is right there too if you prefer that but there was rarely anyone using it since most come to the beach for the ocean. The bed was super comfy and the place was very clean. Greg provided beach towels of course but we didn't expect that he also had beach bags, hats and snorkel gear for our use as well, which was great because I forgot a beach bag. The reef is very close and is about a 7 minute swim straight out so you don't have to take a boat or go in a group to go snorkeling. And the water is calm and clear. We saw rays and all manor of fish. The Oasis resort is right next door, actually Gregs condo is one of a few private condos within the resort so it is the best of both worlds. As Gregs guest we could opted to pay to eat at one of the 7 restaurants at the resorts for a reasonable price which included as many drinks as we wanted and even a show afterwards in the theatre which was a nice surprise. We tried the French restaurant and it was great and the service terrific. There is a great little beach bar a two minute walk down the sandy beach and a beach side massage tent a few minutes further. Heaven. But the best part of out trip, was that we were fortunate to see a sea turtle come up onto the shore in the middle of the night and lay her eggs. It was one of the reasons we picked this time of year and this beach because it has a hatchery and volunteers that patrol the beach at night who will let you know if a nesting is happening as long as you are respectful and quiet and don't use any white flashlights that could disturb the turtle. They have special red ones. We really had a magical tine and will certainly come back for a longer stay during the winter. Thanks Greg for all the little extra touches.
