"Acerenza is een meer dan 2000 jaar oud stadje gelegen op een bergtop van meer dan 800 m hoog met in het centrum een Romaanse kathedraal. Het huis ligt in één van de smalle stegen dichtbij een parkeerplaats van dit stadje. Het pand is oeroud, maar totaal gerenoveerd. "Based on previous reviews we were looking forward to our stay in Melfi and were not disappointed. The apartment is bright and modern and perfectly located within very short walking distance of cafes and restaurants as well as Melfi castle. Our host Giorgio was very friendly and gave us many recommendations for our stay and kept in touch to ensure everything was to our liking. Highly recommended property and a wonderful host. Thank you! "This place is a jewel in Altamura! Rooms are brand new with everything you might need and spacious. They have an AMAZING SPA. We booked it for an hour and 15 minutes and cannot say enough good things about it. You are by yourself and they have sauna, steam, jacuzzi and more. The showers of hot and cold water are u ique. Strongly recommend this place! "

"This is a truly exceptional b and b. The room is delightful , comfortable with beautiful quality finishes . Though it is in the centre it is quiet and a short walk to lovely restaurants. But what is extra special is the charming family who run it . We have met them all . They do everything possible to make our stay enjoyable and with a big smile. Nothing is too much trouble . "We were looking for an out of the way quiet apartment to base a month trip to Italy. I had heard about Calitri from a House Hunters International show on HGTV. The people of the town were lovey....friendly and welcoming to us. I orginally was not going to have a car but I think it would have been very difficult to be in this town with a car to explore surrounding areas. Host was super quick to respond with questions we had. All in all a great month! "
