This is an amazing family owned and family run hotel…we met the whole family and they are amazing! Great hotel…beautiful grounds…great pool…and amazing restaurant/food…find an excuse to go to Potenza so you can stay there!

This is not just another hotel. Its quaint and feels a bit like being at grandmas house. The staff is lovely, always a warm smile and a real interest in your experience. If you're close, stay here and enjoy the restaurant.

La Primula is a very charming, family run resort. The entire family were simply wonderful, welcoming and helpful. The son, Rosario, was the chef and dinner there was just excellent! I must say Potenza is not the most beautiful city in Italy, but La Primula made the visit worthwile.

La Primula was one of the most beautiful properties we've stayed at while traveling internationally. The grounds were immaculate and the service was spot on. We must have stayed during a slower time as there were not many guests, so we felt like we had our own private oasis. We had dinner both nights at the hotel and it was excellent. The head chef was fantastic and so friendly. It was also a bonus that he knew english! :-)

Potenza Lodge.

Unique hotel just outside of Potenza. Beautiful grounds. The whole family works in it and they have a great eco-friendly vision. The rooms are designed as “small homes” with furniture, toys and objects that are meant to give a “welcome home” feeling. Not for everyone, but some will appreciate it.

Quiet retreat outside of Potenza run by a familiy who is very friendly and easy to deal with. The included breakfasts were very good and we ate dinner there our 2 nights. Prices reasonable and food excellent. Clean rooms --- will return.

Gem of a hotel with a great restaurant on site.

We arrived just after lunch had no problem with an early checkin. Staff helped move our luggage as I am mobility challenged. We immediately went to the dining room to grab a light lunch. The set menu changed daily with good variety. A young man, who we later realized was the chef described each of our alternatives. Not wanting to spoil our dinner we asked to split a stater and first course. When the food arrived we were pleased to see that the dishes had been split in the kitchen. We were very impressed. Our dinner was equally enjoyable and again. Shared dishes were split in the kitchen The grounds were delightful and made one forget we were in a city
