"Simple mountain cabin in remote location. Space in great for a couple or two singles. Property has plenty of elbow room with several other structures spread out across a giant clearing next to a lake. We hiked, swam, kayaked, fished and relaxed and enjoyed the views. We cooked dinner on the charcoal grill, and drank our morning coffee while listening to the birds. Hosts were attentive and chatted with us a few times. "

"This cabin was wonderful. It was beautiful, spacious, and clean, with excellent amenities throughout. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the great room was a warm, homey space where our whole family could gather. Beds were comfortable with lots of mountain views. The property was private and peaceful, with a truly remote location that was absolutely worth it for the quiet, lake and mountain views, and the four-season enjoyment this place offers. We did like the well-kept original cabin...

Top Adirondack Park Hotel Reviews

Cambria Hotel Lake Placid - Lakeside Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Would prefer daily housekeeping but everything else was perfect"

Maple Leaf Inn - Lake Placid

8/10 Good

"We enjoyed our 2 night stay over the weekend. A few areas were identified as needing some improvement: - the check in process: since we didn't receive the check in message, it was difficult to get a hold of a person (in person or on the phone) to get access to our room. It took about 20 minutes. - the bathroom door in the room was falling off its hinges, and therefore the door didn't close properly. Luckily I was there with a good friend, so it wan't a big problem. - the bathroom was not entirely clean upon arrival. There were some hairs in the shower as well as water stains on the bathroom floor. Other than those issues identified above, the stay was great. The room was exactly what we needed - a room, comfy beds, bathroom and tv for some distraction. The price can't be beat!"

Super 8 by Wyndham Ticonderoga

10/10 Excellent

"The man at the front desk was so helpful with restaurant suggestions. The breakfast was small but at least we had something to start our day. This is right next to Walmart if you need something. It worked well for our party as we ended up needing two rooms on short notice. They were very accommodating."

High Peaks Resort

8/10 Good

"We visited during the off-season so we expected that some of the amenities may be closed and areas under repair and updates. As such the room was spacious and comfortable, while the parking area was under construction there was ample parking which was a short walk from the front entrance. Prices were reasonable and staff were courteous and helpful."
