「建物自体は古いですが、とてもきれいにメンテナンスされています。 部屋ごとに異なるインテリアは、どれも素敵でした。部屋は広々としていて、裏庭をのぞむ窓際は絵になる風景です。周りは森で、とても静かでした。 シャワーブースと浴槽が別々になっていて、とても使いやすかったです。2部屋のうち、1部屋には浴室にテレビもありました。 夕食はコースディナーを食べました。ホテルの農園で取れた食材が美しく盛りつけられ、とてもおいしかったです。食事前と食事後は、ラウンジで飲み物をいただきました。雰囲気がよく、大満足です。 イギリスには珍しく、部屋に湯沸かしポットと紅茶などのティーバッグがありませんでした。ラウンジで自由に飲めるようでしたが、できれば自分の部屋で好きなときに飲めるといいなと思います。 ホテルのスタッフはとても紳士的な振る舞いで快適でした。イギリスらしい雰囲気を十分に楽しめる、すばらしいホテルだと思います。 」

「Proprietors Kathleen & David are what make this property unique. A very warm welcome, excellent cooked breakfasts and great area knowledge. The room (Market View) was excellent. Quiet and cosy. The location is brilliant for canal walks, Pen Y Fan (we had a car), and the broader Brecon area. Plenty of excellent restaurants in the local area for evening meals. We enjoyed the Brecon Tap, Hills (best burgers ever !) , and the Three Horseshoes Inn for a proper Sunday lunch. 」
