「We had a very pleasant stay at Miss Marrone Hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the property itself is fully renovated. The location is convenient — just a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the Old City, close to shops in the center and near the main bus station. The only downside is the immediate surroundings: the neighboring buildings are quite old and the street is not very clean. However, once inside the hotel, everything is modern, clean, and very well maintained.」

「The lounge offered a very culturally diverse breakfast bar or you could order from the breakfast menu as part of the included breakfast. The staff was out of their way helpful, and they are able to help with booking a car or other excursions on the island of Crete. They responded to all of our requests with grace, kindness and over the top accommodation. It is just outside of Chania city so quieter with big city comforts.」

「Alcanea Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem in Chania! Eva was exceptional, checking in on us when our flight was delayed, providing us with detailed recommendations of restaurants and beaches then following up with us on our return. The location was incredible and the interior and exterior of the 500 year old building provided for such a unique experience. 「Rooftop bar/pool area used for breakfast is a real delight with views of the sea and mountains. The food was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good value head and shoulders above most we have experienced in terms of quality and choice. Very unusual for holiday hotels is the quality of the bedrooms and especially the bed. Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally. 」
