The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The onsens are beautiful and felt like a well deserved treat. Free sparkling wine in the evening was an added bonus (along with free ice creams!). "Amazing stay. Room was impeccable and well appointed. Hotel staff were polite and professional. Club lounge was spacious and had a good view. Food was slightly on the led down with smaller portions and not much variety during the evening. Staff were helpful and I do understand that the majority of their clientele are domestic, it would help if the lounge staff were a little more fluent in English. None the less , they did try their best to assist and were always full of smiles. "

"Very nice hotel to stay in Hakone."

"Very comfortable extra large bed. It was a bit challenging to get the air conditioning to get a steady temperature so needed to adjust frequently. The lunch buffet was just okay and overpriced. But there are LOTS of food options and a supermarket just 2 minutes away. The hotel is literally just a few minutes from the train station. Our corner room was on the opposite side from the station and was really quiet."

"Hotel surpassed all expectations. Outstanding hotel staff. They are exceptionally courteous & all spoke English when they saw that we didn’t understand Japanese. The breakfast buffet is worth it. We bought it at the time of reservation and saved some $ if you have 2 people or more. Also, the amenities are great.
