"My husband and I stayed for a 7 night workcation. We worked for several hours and then explored Fukuoka the rest of the day. The hotel was able to accommodate our request for the longer desk with 2 chairs by the window. Desk was not super spacious, but roomy enough for 2 laptops and 2 portable monitors, plus note pads and phones. Wifi was good. Hotel few steps away from Akasaka train station and near many delicious dining options. Tenjin train station and Donki also easy to walk to in 10-15...

"Really nice hotel, especially if you upgrade to a corner, riverview unit which we did. Fukuoka, to me, is a little sibling to the hussle/bustle of other maor cities like Tokyo or Kyoto and a smaller version of Hiroshima with similar "river city" feels and vibes. All the major attractions, dining, and shopping are all within easy reach of the hotel. It's a good place to relax and take in the vibes of the city without the hectic feel of being in major Japanese metropolis. "

"Nansuikaku is a beautiful ryokan in a village location. The food was top quality, breakfast and dinner. Having a bathroom and onsen in the room was a good way to go for the shy foreign traveller, but they also have access by booking (40 min per day) to the family onsen which is good for couples wanting to experience onsen together. We travelled to the location by local bus from Fukuoka and continued on to Beppu by local bus and train - so the isolation is not a problem if you have time."

"It's right in the middle of a drinking area but the rooms was also very quiet. It a 10min walk to Canal City and there are so many restaurants around the area. The Hotel was also very clean and comfortable."
