From the very start the staff was very nice, even though we weren't the best tourists. We stayed a short time, and in that tike the staff was friendly, despite our Faux Pas and were willing to help us with arranging luggage forwarding. The room we booked was very clean and offered coffee, tea, and ice water in our rooms which we were free to use. The mats we slept on we comfortable and had plush blankets that almost kept us TOO warm during the cool Spring nights. The Onsens though were the...

Amazing and helpful staff, my room on the first day was a little warm, even with my card inserted, not too sure if the AC was on or was a little slow, but the next day it was perfectly fine. It’s a charming and outdated hotel, but the location and the hospitality make up for it. Also, I’m glad that they accommodated me for the Attack on Titan room. Thanks to the staff, I’ll be sure to visit again.

the two assistant front desk young guys, one from Japan and one from Korea carried my heavy bags up the stairs to my room! Bathtub was great relief. One downside was the internet was slow and sometimes now working, but just to reset the router helped. The period decorations added much "duende" and many "tatami" everywhere. Japanese style inn. I stayed 4 nights and was the only guest in the whole inn for 3 nights.The attached restaurant was popular.

Staff were very friendly and courteous. Kaiseki dinner and buffet breakfast were out of the world! Onsen, water temperature was perfect, and Jungle Onsen was interesting. Our room was tatami room with 2 beds which was large enough and comfortable. Even though the unit was rustic, it was very clean.
