"The hotel itself is older (thin walls) and not as updated, however the cleanliness, location convenience and breakfast buffet really made it better! The variety was great along with drink selections and baked goods. Chef was friendly and on top of everything and restocking constantly. "

It was fine but a little small for us. Next time we would book a larger room. The hotel has lots of character and is close to downtown. "

"Really lovely property next to Historic Craigdarroch Castle and within walking distance to the beautiful gardens of the Government House. My room was on the top floor and was quiet and very clean. My only complaint was that the mattress and pillows could be upgraded. It was very convenient having communal kitchen facilities available for guest to use. I would definitely consider staying here again. "
