"Beautiful view. Room was clean and quiet. Only downfall was no elevator, which we knew of but didn't realize lobby was on 5th floor and complimentary breakfast/ restaurant was on 3rd floor. So no matter what floor you were on you had to go up 3 sets of stairs. My bad for not checking further into it."

"The Painter’s Lodge was a decent place to stay at for the night. While the place is a dated and needs a few upgrades, the place was clean and comfortable. The view from the room was amazing! The beds were comfortable enough. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall it was a good option! "

"First of all there was no elevator to get to the room and my wife is disable she had to climb stairs. Also when we woke up to have a shower there was no hot water available. Parking was poor. I would not stay here again. "

"Bed was comfortable and the floors seemed cleaned. I used to always go to this hotel many many years ago and it was so pristine and tidy. This time it kind of has a hostel vibe. This once beautiful boutique hotel is looking pretty rough and will not be going back. Such a shame because it right across from the water and in such a beautiful spot. My room was right beside a fire door that kept on opening and closing - which felt like all night - so quite noisy. .got underground parking which was nice. The free breakfast that was served look nice - but I didn't eat anything. Check in and check out was uneventful. "
