"Well located beachfront hotel at the Holland end of Clacton. Well maintained and sea view rooms have a lovely outlook- great sunny garden. Even meal was excellent but breakfast was quite poor- not freshly cooked. Rooms are modern and very clean with good bathrooms. Bed wasn’t particularly comfortable and it’s poor that there is no complimentary water."

"Quick check in, clean room, restaurant if needed"

"We can recommend this hotel unreservedly. Staff went out of their way to help us with our problems and make us comfortable. We first had to change our reservation due to the train strike and Joey took care of that, next we wanted twin instead of double beds and Emily took care of that. Everytime we asked for help they were able to do something. The hotel is very conveniently located in the high street, clean and welcoming. Food in the bar is excellent."

"The staff made my stay! They went the extra mile to meet my dietary needs and were friendly, helpful and kindly towards me when booking in and at meal times. The room was a good size and the super king was great because I am tall. The bath was a good size and the shower had suitable pressure but was not the best shower but certainly up to the job. Car parking was easy."

"Simple hotel. Clean but a bit dated"

"Room size was below my expectations but it was still decent. Complete put off was the glass-walled toilet that was almost touching the bed. The toilet door didn't have any locking facility and it was a real struggle to use the same due to lack of privacy. The Glass wall had a big crack and I had informed the front desk already post check-in. The breakfast spread could have been much better. The private car park is lavish and this is a huge plus. "
