「We stayed at The Olde Bell for one night and we were very kindly given an upgrade to a gorgeous luxury room overlooking the lovely garden. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated with a free standing bath in the room as well as a large walk in shower in the bathroom. The staff were all very friendly, dinner was good and breakfast was fantastic. This is also such a good value historical hotel in a gorgeous village. We will definitely be back - this is our second stay. 」

「We went there with some friends for an afternoon tea which was fantastic, the food was lovely. We stayed overnight and our room was very spacious clean and tidy. The only thing I would say was the spa area was terrible, the changing rooms were not very nice, the changing room doors were broken, the lockers were in a terrible state and the windows around the pool had lots of leaks, moldy and not fitted properly. But otherwise all good. 」

「エレベーターが有るのに教えてくれなかったため、泊まった部屋がある２階まで階段で大きな旅行トランンクを運ぶはめになりました。部屋はかなり広く、バスルームも清潔で、特段問題はありません。翌朝早くにヒースローに向かう予定でしたので、朝食（珍しく有料）は食べませんでした。とりわけお勧めできるところがあるわけでは有りませんが、欠点もありません。ただ、料金が若干高めではないかと思います。」

「Breakfast needs more choice especially the fruit, the pears were hard as rock, no bananas, no fruit salad. No beans for ages, they need to keep an eye on the hotplates. Invest in a coffee machine so there's a variety. Maybe also a bell at the downstairs bar. 」

I stayed here to go to Highclere Castle, and they arranged a taxi for us, which was very helpful. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Newbury. Thank you very much.」
