"This was a really wonderful hostel! Unlike other hostels we’ve been to there was nothing rundown about this one. The facilities were really nice and there were plenty of bathrooms with showers. We were also very grateful for laundry facilities. There were blackout curtains in the rooms, which made it possible to sleep, even with the long daylight hours. There was also a nice common area with a kitchen."

"Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit vielen Kochstellen - somit keine Wartezeiten wenn andere Personen auch kochen wollen. Toller Freizeitbereich. Der Check in war ein wenig mühsam da wir vorab kein Mail mit Zimmernummer und Code erhalten haben. Einige Anrufe waren nötig um telefonische Auskunft zu erhalten."

"Amazing property "

"we stayed for 1 night in this lovely guesthouse. self serve hot cocoa was available on the 2nd floor, and the bathrooms were up there as well. the location is perfect walking distance from the harbour where we were able to see the northern lights dancing. we stayed on the ground floor right beside the check in desk, and our room had a lovely view of the creek and scenery outside."

"Breakfast was awesome and staff very kind. They even gave this old Southern (USA) boy a full glass of ice!"

"We loved staying at this property! The quietness was lovely. The fridge was stocked for breakfast which was appreciated and the hot tub was wonderful after many days of hikes. The only small issue was trying to contact the property. I was not able to use my phone to call and the property does not respond to messages, but a wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend!"

"The check-in was uncomplicated. The rooms are equipped with the most necessary and clean. Only the showers could have been a bit cleaner. The hostel has a good location. You can reach many sights in Akureyri by foot."
