"This is the first time we, as foreigners, stayed in a Japanese business hotel. It was smaller than we are used to, for sure, but it was in the location we wanted and was in our price range (about $60/night). Despite being small (estimate a 8 x 7 room + small bathroom), it was comfortable and quiet. The carpet was stained, but otherwise, it seemed clean. "Great boutique hotel which is very convenient. Walking distance to train station. Staff was very polite and friendly. Room was spacious enough and very clean. Strongly recommended! "

"Got a fully equipped room/apartment with both kitchen, fridge, table and washing machine (perfect for us since we needed to wash stuff halfway through our trip). Not located at the actual hotel but in the street behind, just in front of the temple. Really nice set up that worked perfect for our family of three. "

"The room was very clean and the lake view was beautiful. The service attitude was very good, but English communication was difficult. There was a sewer smell in the bathroom of our room. The parking lot was very convenient downstairs. But you can walk to the shopping area. "
