"This is truly a hidden gem. I want to return to visit Sydney so I can stay here again! Super clean, very swanky and fun rooms, and it’s so fun having a bar downstairs - but still having peace and quiet in the rooms! Staff are lovely and welcoming/helpful. 10/10 recommend."

"Horse and Jockey was a pleasant surprise. A lovely old building but very well looked after and with friendly and helpful staff. The history of the hotel made it all the more intresting."

"It was good. What you would expect from a hostel. I did not see any plates or utensils available I was only there for one night so I just used my own but did not see anything written about getting it from the front desk but other people seemed to have utensils from the front desk. They also have signs that they will kick you out if you do not wash your dishes immediately so there was not a pile up of dishes - but the dishes seemed like they were half washed. Nothing new for hostels. "
