「Very disappointed with our stay at Madison Crest Hotel. We booked a room for 6 people through Expedia with two beds and a sofa bed, but received only one bed and one sofa bed. The hotel blamed Expedia, and Expedia blamed the hotel. The hotel also falsely claimed that I upgraded the room, which never happened. On top of that, the toilet was not working and the room was very cold. Poor customer service and very frustrating experience.」

「This is a unique property, being g a historic hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the lobby very attractive and the bar and restaurant very good. But be prepared for some quirky things. There are no phones in the rooms, nor common amenities like coffee machine, mini fridge or microwaves. The elevator is amazing, the oldest in the eastern U.S. and one of only 2 like it, the other is in Paris. It will only fit about 4 people, 3 if you have luggage, as there has to be an employee...
