I believe the hotel is used primarily for workers in the area...we had a person loudly jumping up and down for several hours the first night until 11:00pm then resumed jumping at 7:00am the next morning. 「We enjoyed our stay but ran into a few bothersome things. We arrived over an hour after check in time & our room wasn’t ready. There was no apology, just a “give it another 10 minutes”. And when we inquired about the meeting place for a kayak tour we scheduled, front desk staff was rude. They explained the kayak tour was not connected to them even though the meeting place was at their property. They could’ve politely just pointed us in the right direction. They can deal with the kayak tour owner...

「The bathroom was clean! The bed hard and worn out. The carpet old and soiled. The air quality was so bad when we walked in - musty and damp. The front desk attendant lacked personal awareness and professionalism. It was the least expensive in Two Harbors, but we won’t stay again」

「Gorgeous spaces! Check in was different with no in-person contact, but communication was good and room was easy to access. Elevator was very slow, so we took stairs to the second floor room (all rooms are on the second floor). Beautiful room and bathroom with high-end fixtures. Personal welcome note on the table was a nice touch. Record player and records available was unreal but fun! Breakfast was different from most hotels, but very enjoyable. Bed was SUPER comfortable!」

「The Raspberry suite was amazing. The room was very nice and clean, comfy bed, a nice jacuzzi to relax in after a long day walking around Madeline Island and Bayfield. The Inn is in such a great location to everything that Bayfield has to offer.」

「The most important factor is the location. I'm certain they must make their income during a limited tourist season but the room seemed to not represent good value. The room was quite mediocre. No daily room service, the last paint job was amateurish, there was not nearly enough lighting in the rooms, halls, or lobby. The breakfast was only adequate. The bedding seemed aged. There are very few eating establishments any place near. I would not return.」
