"Staff were super kind and helpful - I was travelling with a small child and they really went out of their way to help, even cooking him a separate breakfast (unasked) when they saw he was struggling with Japanese food!"

"We got a suite with a private jacuzzi on the balcony - the view was great, but the place is falling apart a bit. The tub was leaking in places and had a slime-y residue inside, and multiple floorboard soft the balcony were rotted through and gave way underfoot. The photos here aren't quite reflective of the property's current state. Even in the public onsen, the windows are covered with salt on the outside, obscuring the view. Beautiful place and the food they serve was good, but some updates...
"The inn was in a quiet neighborhood.
The owner was very talkative and friendly. He was reachable over WhatsApp/LINE/Telegram/WeChat, and offered free pick up and drop off options at Izu Kōgen (伊豆高原) station and a few tourist spots. The stay was quiet and peaceful and I greatly enjoyed it.
