Very clean, in vicinity of everything. Shared onsen that you use privately (as not shower in the room). Loved the stay, and we will come back for sure.
Good, clean modern Japanese style room. Went with a friend on a quick getaway to Shimoda. Onsen (hot spring) on premises. Simple older style (private) bath which can be used by all guests. Friendly staff who explained the area to us and gave a few good walks and restaraunt recommendations. This is a 3rd generation inn, first founded by the current owners' grandfather in 1975. The current innkeeper has created a cool vibe. SUPs and bikes for rent. Would stay again.
