"Clean, nice and friendly! So far this hotel was the best place weā€™ve been! The location was right next to the sea, with a nice view from the hotel. And we really enjoyed the modern design of the room and their restaurant! Plus their staff were very friendly and helpful! We were driving there, they guided us and provided free parking for our stays. We highly recommend this place for all young couples and families!"

"Itā€™s in a perfect location literally right across from Shirahama beach!! Beautiful views from the room. The hotel itself is definitely dated. But the room is exactly what we wanted. A traditional Japanese style room. We had to lay out our beds and everything. So that was fun and unique. The onsen and public baths were nice too! Only thing I didnā€™t like was the sauna was a ā€œprivateā€ experience that was like $60-70 extra for 2 hours. Not great. At the end of the day, we basically wanted a classic Japanese room to sleep at night and be a good home base to explore shimoda from. And for that, it was amazing! Iā€™d highly recommend if youā€™re looking for that. But luxurious, it was not. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!"
