The food was amazing! The room was clean and staff was friendly. Even though the room is on the small side compared to hotels in North America, it was very comfortable. My son and I enjoye our 10 day stay here. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 15 days and had a very good overall experience. The hotel is located in Kawasaki, about 45 minutes by train from central Tokyo, which may not be ideal if you want to be close to major attractions. However, it’s very convenient for Haneda Airport. The area is lively, with many bars nearby along Nakamise Street. At night, there are people inviting customers into bars, which might feel uncomfortable for some. We added the breakfast service, but the limited 5–6 options stayed the same throughout our stay and became repetitive, so we ended up eating at konbini from around day 10 onward. There is a free small kitchen/common area on the 10th floor with a coffee machine, water dispensers, various teas, a microwave, and a toaster. It’s quite small and can get crowded. There’s also a terrace, but we couldn’t enjoy it since we stayed in winter. Overall rating: 5/5. Great choice if you prioritize airport access over being in central Tokyo.

Just the room was a bit tiny for 2 people. But breakfast was good, you got to choose from a variety of options.. coffee and tea readily available up on the top floor and restaurant downstairs…. We were only there for 1 night and got the double bed for 2…everything very clean but room was small. Different kind of tv system in our room.. Staff super nice, we got in late. Mahalo!!

Clean and cosy room with projector(!). HDMI cable is free to loan so you can watch from your laptop which is nice. Bed can be turned into sofa, roof terrace is stunning. Just overall great. The only complaint I have is that the bed was too short for me (am 190cm+) but there's no bedpost so my feet could just stick out. Missing some 1-1,5 dm at least. But it was otherwise fantastic, especially for the price so will definitely be coming back!

Nice-looking but loud

The hotel is nice, clean, and modern-looking! The only thing is that the hotel is close to a lot of “girls bars” and a construction lot so there is a lot of noise from drunk people at night and construction drilling in the morning.

Slash is an amazing hotel. Their common areas, like the cafe and the rooftop terrace are wonderful. I really enjoyed getting to go up to the rooftop in the evening to have some free tea or in the morning for some free coffee. The cafe had breakfast in the morning (a small up charge) that was to die for. They also had happy hour in the evening with free beer. My room was actually a decent size for a Japanese hotel room. Not that I spent a whole lot of time in it but I got a two bed room and it was great, with adjustable beds. Also, the toilet is the usual awesome Japanese toilet with the heated seat and bidet. It was really great. All of the staff spoke English and were very kind and friendly. I loved this hotel. It’s located in Kawasaki, maybe like a 7-10 minute walk from the train station. You definitely have to take the train to see all of the touristy stuff in Tokyo. But if you don’t mind that it’s an amazing place to stay.
