"Excellent hotel near the M6 junction. Hotel is clean and well maintained with a large car park. It looks like the hotel was recently refurbished. The room and ensuite bathroom was clean and well maintained. The leisure club has a good sized pool, spa pool and sauna. This is looks newly reburbished. "We chose the George hotel as our base for a few days away,and was not disappointed with it at all the staff was all friendly the food was of a good quality and warm big shout out to Wayne and the team thanks for making our trip enjoyable "

"The hotel, the stay, the room and pretty much everything about our 2 nights there where very good the only thing that could be improved is the wifi speed and connection. Due to data signal in the area being very poor which is not controllable by the hotel i think an improvement on there wifi capabilities would compensate for this issue."

"Last minute weekend booking for 2 adults and 3 children (6,6,8). Arrived late to a prepared room, warm welcome and much needed cocktail. Room had a queen size bed in a separate area with sofa bed and single bed in the main area. Each area had a large TV, would of loved for these to be smart tv’s but didn’t affect us too much. Was a warm weekend but a fan was provided. Spacious, clean room. Amenities were great and included iron, wash basket etc + the usual tea, coffee and hot choc ( great selection). Breakfast was amazing and the coffee selection was brill. Bonus of 2 terraces which were beautiful and had a scenic view. Would of loved to of eaten there but unfortunately our schedule was packed! Can’t wait to return to spend some more time at the hotel. Given a travel lodge wasn’t too much cheaper I am blown away at how reasonably priced this was given the huge range of facilities, high quality spacious rooms and scenic location. This hotel also has a hair salon which would be great for those staying for an event (again reasonably priced). This hotel is a must for families who want a little bit of luxury in a child friendly place "
