「Great stay !!」

「Lovely modern room in restored old building. Staff were helpful, and both dinner and breakfast in the pub were great.」

「The meal of the restaurant was nice. But, my room was too small to relax.」

「It has to be said that the house and grounds are superb and Met my desire to have my friend wake up on her 80th birthday in palatial surroundings. However I have just been informed at the end of breakfast that it is not included in my Expedia booking! There is no warning of that whatsoever and I think that it is deceitful and deceptive. 」

「Kind staff」

「Friendly staff and clean, quiet room」

「Disappointing that the breakfast description from reviews was "with some guests finding it plentiful and others appreciating the free and simple offering" it was more on the simple side, as in it was a selection of cereal and some bread to do toast, and with Orange and Apple Juice options and the usual Tea/Coffee. Also on the pictures, number 8 (as I type this) implied a goody bag was provided, but wasn't. Particularly, it looked like a yoghurt pot. There wasn't even yoghurt provided at...

「We really like staying at the Feathers we have stayed here a number of times. There is everything you need. The rooms are comfortable with a lovely selection of teas, coffee, biscuits with the option of collecting fresh milk from the bar. There is an iron in the room. The bar & restaurant are good with good selection of cocktails & wine. The staff are friendly & helpful The location is good for visiting family in Hertford and travelling to London via the A10. Good value for money too」

「Room was clean but whole floor smelt of cigarette smoke. It’s a shame because the rooms are letting down the hotel as the rest of the hotel is very nice and it could be a top spot to visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the grounds were stunning! Food was also great but more on the expensive side. I had the burger on the menu (£18) it did come with chips and was tasty! Good place to stay if you want a short stay but it could do with some TLC」
