Although last night was pretty windy and chilly, the light was pretty nice with big clouds moving in the sky.

I even had the chance (i.e. I did not plan it this way) to get there around when the tide was flipping direction. The barrier was up when I arrived and they pulled it back when the tide started to go down.

"Melia white house hotel is in a delapitated state and not all rooms are the same quality. The lobby is fine but the rooms have dirty carpets, dated bathrooms and blocked up with all kinds of doors. The best part of this hotel was the proximity to the tube. "
