「Friendly welcome on arrival and was actually shown to the room. Lovely and clean with refreshments and bottled water. Food was excellent both dinner and breakfast. Would definitely book again」

「The team were friendly and helpful we stayed in a very clean and well presented room (No 11) that had a beautiful bathroom. The onsite restaurant served really good quality food and the continental breakfast delivered to your room in a hamper was excellent would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.」

「The room was clean and tidy, however when we stayed last year we had bottles of water in our room but this was not the case this time, I brought my own last year but didn't this year as I thought that bottles of water would be in our room. 「The curtains within Room 222 were far too long and were a health and safety hazard especially for the elderly generation. Bathroom fan did not operate within said room. The Queen size bed mattress was very lumpy and needs to be replaced. On Sunday 30th August 2026 I organised Sunday lunch for five persons, 3 of my relatives and my wife and I. 「Excellent value for money and convenient location for exploring the area. The staff were always pleasant, polite and helpful. Breakfast had something for everyone (full English, eggs benedict, cereal and pastries baked to order) and was good quality, the dinner menu was a fairly typical pub menu but the quality was good and portions huge. I want to return just to try the chips again - I haven't had such delicious chips in years!」
