"A Characterful Coaching Inn set in lovely countryside - staff on the reception were very good, Bar and waiting staff, young but pretty good. The 2 steak dishes we had were also pretty good. We'd certainly stay here again. The Cosy Double Room we had just for 1 night was very clean and in excellent condition."

"The initial welcome in the afternoon in reception was bad, very bad vibes, we considered leaving, but the evening improved with different staff on, but because we had our very well behaved dog with us , we were put in a space with a wedding party, and the service was bad,as they were obviously more important ,as clearly knew the staff and were put first, the food when it finally arrived was ok, we were then woken at 8am on our last morning with banging and crashing outside, goodness knows what that was. We would not return, clearly a place for locals and people who are in with the staff, what a shame as certainly not cheap!!!!!"

"The location is great. We loved having the Old Fleece pub next door. The amenities are nice. The biggest issue with this accommodation is the lack of air flow. It can get warm and stuffy in warmer weather. There are no windows, and keeping the door open at night was not an option for us."

"This is a lovely cottage in a great little town with lots of amenities and instant access to the beautiful Cotswolds. The BIG caveat is that during nesting season the swallows are almost in the attic bedroom with you, causing significant sleep disturbance. Prepare for this with great earplugs, and you’ll be fine. Sadly this is not mentioned in the marketing, but is well signposted in the cottage. For this reason, the comfort for our stay was very poor."

"This is a beautiful old cottage with plenty of space, a very well equipped kitchen, dining room on 1st floor we ate in the kitchen sitting up on bar stools to island, nice large shower was excellent, with lots of hot water, beds at top of house were comfortable, directions for getting there were a must and very accurate, we were attending Badminton horse trials only 25 mins drive to get there All in all I would highly. Recommend it but there are quite a few stairs if you are a bit long in the tooth like me! However I managed very well"

"My mother and I ventured to England for her 80th birthday. We wanted to experience all of the grace and splendor it has to offer while mum is still able to see it. Macular degeneration is rapidly robbing her of that ability. Have you ever experienced the force and wonder of the universe drawing you into the exact moment of existence you are meant to embrace and be enveloped in? For us, the magnitude of it's pull was enchantingly magical. Something so very unexpected, but wholeheartedly welcomed and embraced. Will's Cottage and property is everything we had dreamt about while visiting the Cotswolds and more!! Stunning panoramic views of the hills and valleys enhanced the pure beauty of the gorgeous stone structures. Experiencing first-hand and learning about this family farming tradition of 500 years was a pure joy and highlight of our journey. Will is a very gracious and extremely knowledgeable host. A true English chap and gentlemen, and proud to say a new found mate! The cottage had all the conveniences, stunning views, cleanliness, warmth and charm we were looking for. Perfectly located for day trips to all of the wonders the Cotswolds has to offer. Returning to this magical place has now become a priority!! Our souls have been recharged on this journey and Will and his little cottage are a large part of that peace. Thank you for that mate!Until next time..."
