"Great staff and the room was spacious. The laundry is a separate business next door. We visited in February and the outside area was not like the pictures! Good supermarket next door but not many walkable dining options."

"Really engaged owner and cool gift shop with local crafts and books. Of course, U2 stayed here years ago and its rustic desert charm still exists. Beds are firm and great for sleeping but you’ll want to wake up early for the sunrise view."

"The house is in a spectacular location, a specialness in landscaping and design that makes it stand-out as a place to remember; an ambience of luxury. For those over 60, there are sudden steps up and down in and out of the house that need to be watched out for, but we loved being very close to the National Park and feeling separated from the rush of town life."

"Could be much cleaner. Missing lots of basic items (kitchen towels, broken coffee pot, no kitchen sponge, no toaster, missing baking pans). For what you charge was not happy."

"We’ve stayed at some pretty nice vacation houses, but this place takes the cake. It’s set right on the border of Joshua Tree National Park, with no close neighbors and our back yard looks like a park itself. I basically chose this location after seeing the pictures of the pool surrounded by massive rocks. The owner Dale gave us a great tour when we arrived showing us all the history, artwork and personal artifacts that decorate the house. Definitely not your average white washed vacation rental. He really put his heart and soul into this place. Every room is full of character, painted in tones of orange and plum with baroque decor. Definitely the perfect place to relax and recharge."
