there is a beautiful view and the place is funky and fun and I felt very safe - plus, the guy at the desk was very kind and welcoming. However, the place was not very clean and the shower was not working great. It is a deal and worth a stay but the price is low for a reason.

The room is colorful, spacious and clean. It’s our second time staying here and that’s our go to spot when we come to Joshua tree. It’s cheap, but doesn’t feel like a motel, which I typically do not like motels at all. This feels more like cabins. The gentleman at the front is very nice and helpful. Parking is right in front of the room so that’s great too. The bed was comfy, the only two things I would suggest is switching the curtains to blackout curtains, as it gets super bright very early in the morning, and a second trash can for the bathroom would be nice in addition to the one in the room. It’s also super close to the 29 palms entrance of the park which also has shorter lines than the west entrance, and it’s so close to the restaurants and shops. We love eating at the Kitchen in the desert restaurant a few minutes away, busy but delicious! Will definitely continue staying here when I come back.

Second time staying here. This is a no frills motel however which has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and a lot of charm and care put into it. Great budget option for the area which has become increasingly expensive over the last decade It’s a funky desert roadside motel which I personally love to find and just like budget options are dwindling in the area, so are places that are unique with charm. Room was pretty clean and comfortable for my son and I. Would absolutely stay again!

The location is gorgeous, and the staff were phenomenal. I got in past checkin hours, but Nick had left me a key to get settled in and I managed to properly checkin with him in the morning. There were new towels available every morning. The loudest thing out here is the 62 highway next to the motel, but even that is still quite quiet. Parking was easily accessible right in front of the cabin, however I didn’t get a chance to use that amenity. The bus stops were all accessible for me on foot, they just required walking through some sand and neighborhoods. Fantastic place, would come back.

This is a very nice older motel at a great price . It has colorful individual huts and mine was very clean. It's a bit awkward to park a motorcycle but he says we can park in the gated flat area where the pool used to be. The owner is very nice and helpful. I liked staying here.
