"On our way from Cape Town to the wonderful Pure Nature Lodge in Paterson we stopped twice at The Old Trading Post for one night stop-over. Grass too long, slippery areas where a proper path or steps could help, rubbish bin overflowing.

"The ideal place to stay on the Garden Route as approximately halfway.However more importantly The Trading Place exudes a beautiful calm rustic charm, exemplifed by the host. The most delicious breakfast awaits you at a time of your choce, the bread is homemade. Highly recommended is their preordered pizza in the evening. The host is coincidentally the guide for the river trips, so has exceptional knowledge on the nature of the area.
