"Our family loved staying here! The check in was easy with clear instructions and we found the home clean and everything working well. Our children really enjoyed playing in the snow surrounding the home. It was quiet and the surroundings are beautiful! We watched the Aurora Borealis both nights we were there with clear skies from the front of the house. I highly recommend staying here. "

"Housekeeping was in the room after we checked in for our stay. Despite this, our room wasn't clean (toilet hadn't been cleaned, nail clippings on the dresser), and housekeeping was consistently poor throughout our visit. There was so much dust on the pictures in the hallway guests were playing tic-tac-toe on them. The hotel restaurant is overpriced and the food was bad. We wouldn't stay here again."

"Birchwood Suites is so far above the highest rating you can get. The suite is beautifully decorated with high end pro cookware, plush towels, everything you could possibly want. The hosts, Tim & Stacie, are the absolute best hosts we’ve ever had with VRBO. They had fresh eggs, homemade raspberry jam, bread, butter, Alaskan coffee, and fresh flowers for us upon arrival. That kindness and thoughtfulness is rare. The house is tucked away on Murphy Dome, quiet and peaceful. The view from the house is incredible. We saw the northern lights every night from the driveway. This place is a slice of heaven. If you don’t stay there you are missing out. "

"Rooms clean, very spacious, parking easy. It was like having a whole apartment. Not fancy but very accessible, would be great for an extended stay."

"This property was an absolute delight to stay at. There was plenty of room for my family and friends and learn to play games and to watch TV together. The bedrooms were comfortable. The bathrooms were beautiful. The hot tub was so nice to enjoy and unfortunately no one took the opportunity to enjoy a sauna, but it was nice that it was there. It was also exciting to see moose in the front yard, and it was close enough to go get groceries and go to all of the places we wanted to explore. I had questions for the owners or property manager, and they were quick to respond and also to extend our stay when we needed to extend it. I would highly recommend this property if you were in the Fairbanks area. "
