This was such a unique experience and was most of the most beautiful hotels I've enjoyed. The location (just steps away from charming downtown St. Joe, MI and Lake Michigan) is wonderful, and the historical significance was so special. The Speakeasy was so much fun on a Saturday night and the drinks were DELICIOUS. The continental breakfast was tasty and fresh and very convenient. Could not gush more about what a special place this is!

My family only stayed here one night after leaving Michigan Adventure's en route to Sleeping Bear Dunes. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm face. My husband and I planned an impromptu trip to South Haven with our 2 small dogs. ! We hit the jackpot with selecting the right place. Todd was a great resource, answering our questions, giving recommendations and playing host during the weekend happy hour and making breakfast. We can’t wait to come back. Our room was just right. We had a King room. The hotel is very charming!

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but I thought this hotel really stood out! The lobby area was so nice with fooseball and board games, the pool was warm and clean, and one of the staff got me breakfast at 9:50 when it closed at 9:00 (I thought it closed at 10, but that’s only on weekends…) I can’t wait to come back again.
