"This property needs to be updated, it just to crash overnight and catch your flight the next day. Staff and transport driver was very nice."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We were in town for a wedding about two hours north of NYC, but wanted to stay close to the airport for the convenience of getting back and forth. The area around the hotel is busy and safe, so we felt comfortable walking around at all hours. Check-in was fast and easy and our room was clean and comfortable. The room was up-to-date and fairly quiet, considering where it's located. Breakfast is offered at the restaurant downstairs for $17 a person and is buffet style. It was fine, but we did not return after the first trip, though, the staff were very nice. I wanted to specifically give a shout out to Adrianna at the front desk. She was very kind and helped us with luggage hold. After we checked out since we had a late flight. She made sure we were taken care of and helped us catch a shuttle to the airport when we were ready. I do really appreciate that the hotel offers luggage holds, valet parking, and a free airport shuttle. The shuttle driver was also super kind! I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in Flushing or around the airport."

"The room was mostly good, but the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling secured only with blue painter’s tape (seriously) and the ceiling above the toilet was slowly dripping water (certainly from a leak in the toilet plumbing in the room above). I took photos of these problems and showed them to two different desk staff and they said they would look into it. I took the photos to be sure they would refund the $100 security deposit collected at check-in. The deposit was refunded (I mention this because other reviews said they did not get their deposit refunded). There is no breakfast provided - just coffee in the lower level. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy as others have noted, but I didn’t worry about it too much because I was traveling by bicycle (and could ride to a less sketchy area in 2 minutes). I give the hotel 4 out of 5 stars because of the value, i.e., a pretty decent room (notwithstanding the issues noted above) at a very reasonable price. I would stay there again based on value for the money."

"Great stay, customer service, breakfast options and local attractions and restaurants. Only negative was the location with construction, general area was sketchy if not familiar with inter city life. "The staff in this hotel was unusually unfriendly. This would’ve been a 5 star review if it wasn’t because of a general vibe we perceived from the staff that seemed to be very unhappy. From the front desk to the guy storing luggage. It’s a shame because otherwise the hotel is great."
